IHG will work with you to obtain the best contract arrangement for your hotel. We offer two
types of contracts: franchise agreements (or licenses) and management contracts. Because we
own less than 1% of our portfolio, it's easy to see why our owners become the true
representation and embodiment of the IHG brands.

  • The moment you become an IHG franchisee, we are with you every step of the way. From planning, to ground break, to grand opening, the Hotel Openings Services & Transitions (HOST) program navigates owners and franchisees through the entire hotel opening process.
  • IHG will assign you a dedicated team whose role is to help guide development, as well as strategize your hotel’s debut with revenue, sales, and marketing initiatives.
  • Our Hotel Opening Manager (HOM) is a proven web-based system that tracks and communicates progress against your projected opening date and assists in delivering an on-time opening with accelerated ramp-up period to stabilization.
